Continuing Education/Workshop Policies
Registration and Payment
Registration: To secure your spot in a CE course or workshop, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate information.
Payment: Full payment is required at the time of registration. Your space is not guaranteed until payment is received.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Participant: If you need to cancel your registration, please to notify us at least 5 days before the scheduled workshop. Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $20.00.
Cancellation by BTG: Bridging The Gap DFW reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee or be offered to shift their payment to another class and/or another date of the same class.
Attendance and Participation
Punctuality: Please arrive on time for all workshops. Late arrivals may disrupt the session and miss valuable content.
Participation: Active participation is encouraged. Engage in discussions, activities, and exercises to make the most of your learning experience.
Code of Conduct
Respect: Treat instructors, fellow participants, and staff with respect and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of personal information shared during workshops. Do not share sensitive information without permission.
Materials and Intellectual Property
Materials: Workshop materials, including handouts, presentations, and resources, are provided for educational purposes only. Reproduction or distribution of materials without permission is prohibited.
Intellectual Property: All workshop content and materials are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.
Photo and Video Release Policy
At Bridging the Gap, we value the privacy and consent of all our students. This policy outlines our guidelines and procedures regarding the use of photos and videos taken during our classes, workshops, and events.
Photo and Video Usage: During our classes and events, photos and videos may be taken by authorized personnel for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes. These images and recordings may include but are not limited to students, instructors, and the learning environment.
Consent Requirement: We respect your privacy, and your consent is of utmost importance to us. All students, instructors, and participants will be required to provide written consent before any images or recordings are taken that may include them.
No Obligation to Consent: Consenting to the use of photos or videos is entirely voluntary. You are under no obligation to grant consent, and your decision will not impact your participation in our classes or events.
Purpose of Use: Images and recordings may be used for educational materials, promotional materials, social media, our website, and marketing campaigns. We will ensure that any images or recordings used for promotional purposes do not compromise your privacy or confidentiality.
Withdrawal of Consent: If you have previously granted consent but wish to withdraw it, you may do so at any time by notifying our staff in writing or verbally at the beginning of each course. Your request will be promptly processed, and your images or face will not be used in future materials.
By participating in our classes, workshops, or events, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Photo and Video Release Policy. You also understand that you have the option to grant or deny consent for the use of your images or recordings.
Certification and Continuing Education Credits
Attendance: To receive a certificate of completion or continuing education credits, participants must attend the entire workshop and actively participate.
Certificates: Digital certificates will be provided to participants at least 24 hours upon successful completion of the workshop. It is the participant's responsibility to retain their certificate for documentation.
Changes to Workshop Details
Schedule and Content: Bridging The Gap DFW reserves the right to make changes to workshop schedules, pricing, content, instructors, or locations as necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
Feedback and Evaluation
Feedback: We value your feedback and encourage you to complete workshop evaluations. Your input helps us improve our offerings.
Liability
Liability Waiver: Participants assume all risks associated with their participation in CE courses or workshops. Bridging The Gap DFW, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the workshop.
